Human Ethics II

So on the day of the  exam  I went to meet him in the legendary Dr. Faustus House in Prague in Franz Kafka's novel

Evil is getting stronger and it is reaching dimensions exceeding horror novel's authors' imagination as much as it is impossible to imagine even for authors of new new product versions, the originals of which were made by guardians in Franz Kafka's novel.  I wanted to meet Dr Vymetal in person! I wanted to understand how it was possible that a man decorated with PhD degree and the leader of the Medical Ethics Department could behaved as he behaved then. I wanted to see where that man had his understanding of evil boundaries and also I wanted to learn if whether he was able to get over that evil and abomination after the "game" of which he was a part of, however small, ended with their "fail".  I wanted to see how he would behave meeting me face to face. It might be difficult to understand that feeling but a person who have been unjustly bullied and sentenced to be wiped out and survived it just by a miracle might understand that I wanted to meet him and look into his eyes finally understanding his personality!. 

 So on the day of the exam I went to meet him in the legendary Dr Faustus House in Prague. I came there half an hour earlier and looking at those beautiful building I could not understand how it was possible that the little palace could host such a person, Dr Vymetal, the man who had so mercilessly  directed our fates. Each one of my steps hurt me just as I entered the building, as I realized that it was the one where him, the Vymetal person was working. I felt sick. My fate was mercilessly leading me to meeting the evil impossible to imagine! I found him somewhere upstairs, rang the doorbell and expected that his secretary would answer the door. Instead of that it was himself, "Professor", all dressed in white. A psychologist wearing white trousers, a white shirt and a white coat as if he were a surgeon prepare to act.

Professor Vymetal could not hide his hatred. He wore a mask of a professional psychologist; a mask consisting of several layers and changing according the needs of the current situation. And still he could not hide his hatred in his eyes. I saw the hatred of a hunter learning that his prey survived its injuries and was facing him again. In some moments he showed a specific expression as if saying: "I did know where your weak point was, but now, my fellow, I know it and I am going to stab you just there. The specialist decorated with title in psychology learned that weak spot just there, in Dr Faustus House. It was my limitless love to my own child. The child whom he was trying to tear out of my heart, the child that I could not see nor touch. Professor was just enjoying himself. His "touching" and in the same time slimy remarks just went together with his glee over a loving father torn by his pains, suffering for his own child! The pain of the suffering father... For instance when I was fighting for my freedom and honor here in Czech Republic, being stolen from me upon request of the state power, Professor himself went to Germany where for sure he earned more than here. He stabbed us into our backs and then he went to grab his money from Germany and I had to remain in Czech Republic fighting all these engaged in my case and defending my lost and stolen honor! Honor... That human value was probably as far from the Professor as some star still undiscovered by Ondrejov Observatory.

I came to meet him hoping that meeting a professional specialist responsible for wellbeing of our children, for generation that would continue our civilization I would find his help, I would save my child from her, apparently psychopathic, mother to be able to bring her up to become a true personality, a human being with true values, to develop those values and to pass them to her own children... The State appointed Professor Vymetal to look after children of this kind and so it happened that he was responsible also for my child!
