Eli Manning and the New York Giants have managed to achieve something incredible.They have defeated the New England Patriots for the second time in the Superbowl.
The Giants started their winning streak by beating their hometown rival the New York Jets on December 24th. and they never looked back. They beat the Dallas Cowboys on January 1st. which secured them the Division Title.
In the playoffs they beat the Atlanta Falcons 24-2 on January 8th., they beat last year's Superbowl Champions the Green Bay Packers 27-20 on January 15th. ( which was a big upset.) and they beat the San Francisco 49ers on January 22nd. 20-17 Then it was on to the Superbowl to play the New England Patriots.
In the Superbowl in 2008 Eli made and awesome pass to David Tyree who cought the ball on top of his helmet. That play secured the Giants victory. This year ( in the Superbowl) Eli made an incredible pass to Mario Manningham who cought the ball barely inbound. Which pretty much sealed their victory again.
The Patriots had a 16-0 season back in 2008 so naturally they were very cocky going into the Superbowl but the Giants beat them 17 to 14 what an awesome game. This past Sunday the Giants have managed to do it again by beating the Patriots 21 to 17 Tom Brady and the Patriots again had a very good season 13 to 3 but the Giants came out on top.
